After Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s killing in a US-Israeli strike, his son, Mojtaba Khamenei, was appointed the Supreme Leader. However, Mojtaba neither appeared in public nor delivered an address after that. The state media calling him a ‘Jaanbaz of Ramadan War’ has added to the buzz that he might have been injured in the strikes.

Just over a week after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in a US-Israeli joint strike, Iran’s Assembly of Experts appointed his 56-year-old son, Mojtaba Khamenei, as the new Supreme Leader. However, reports indicate that Mojtaba Khamenei might have been injured in the ongoing conflict, which the Iranian regime calls the Ramadan War against the US and Israel.

Iran’s state TV referred to him as “Jaanbaz of Ramadan” — meaning an “injured war veteran”, according to reports.
